Costa Rica Hermosa
Tarrazú (Coopedota Cooperative)
The Tarrazú, nestled in Costa Rica’s misty mountains, is a prime region for growing exceptional coffee. Its volcanic soils, cool climate averaging 18–24°C, and high altitudes of 1,500 to 1,800 meters above sea level create ideal conditions for coffee. Coope Dota’s producers, over 1,100 strong, take pride in sustainable farming and fair practices, earning the world’s first carbon-neutral certification in 2011. Our Hermosa, a community coffee from Tarrazú’s Coope Dota, boasts a bright body with a smooth, sweet finish and citrus notes. Its vibrant flavour and consistent quality make it a roastery favourite.

In 2021, Bear Market Coffee made a significant investment in a state-of-the-art roastery, featuring the Loring S15 Falcon, an eco-friendly roasting machine known for its precision and sustainability. This cutting-edge facility allowed them to craft their own beans in-house, ensuring the highest quality and consistency.
The roastery was designed as a showcasing café in Stillorgan, Co. Dublin, where the entire roasting process is fully visible to the public. This commitment to transparency not only highlights Bear Market's dedication to quality but also offers customers a unique, behind-the-scenes look at how their coffee is made.
