How can the capsules be disposed of? 
Our HOME compostable (Origin Green) instant  coffee pods are some of the best eco-friendly disposable pods available to order in Ireland. Unlike other pods, ours aren’t made from plastic. They’re 100% plastic-free, thus eco-friendly Nespresso-compatible capsules. Each box contains 10 HOME compostable coffee pods that can be disposed of in your brown bin.

Can I dispose of the capsules in my home compost bin? 
You can, but without temperatures of 50° Celsius the capsules will take longer to break down, possibly up to one year. 

What happens if I dispose of the capsules in the general waste bin? 
Waste is increasingly being sent to energy-from-waste facilities. Being compostable has little benefit here, but if the material is bio-based the net CO2 e emissions are likely to be less than for conventional plastic.
