Step 1

We will be using 55 grams of coffee to 780g of water. First pre-wet the filter to get rid of any paper taste.
The grind coarseness for this method is similar to sea salt.


Step 2

Place the Chemex Filter into your Chemex.


Step 3

Pour water to the brim of the chemex, giving it 2-3 min to completely drip through.


Step 4

Pour the ground coffee into the Chemex Filter. Make sure the coffee is flatten.


Step 5

For this method we will be doing 4 pours.

The first one will be starting from the center.
Continue the other pours gently outwards. We recommend not to pour water into the sides of the filter


Step 6

Pour the water in a circular pattern from the center.
Pour for a fourth time until the final weight is 750g.
Bloom with 80 g of water and stir to make sure all coffee is covered


Step 7

Allow the water to drip


Step 8

Remove the filter, give the chemex a swirl, and enjoy!
