Ethiopia - Chelbesa

Size: 200 gr

Additional Information

Located in the Gedeo zone of the Gedeb district, Worka, Chelbesa is one of the finest coffee producing areas in the famous Gedeb Woreda.

Chelbesa is a great example of the best coffee-growing agro-ecology thanks to its dense vegetation. Chelbesa gets most of its cherries from the surrounding hills.

When Alexander, the manager of Tropiq Ethiopia, visited early in the season, farmers were waiting to harvest their cherries, even though red cherries were appearing on their trees. Their reasoning was that God would let them know when the right time to begin harvesting was.

Thanks to its fruity apple, brown sugar & peachy tasting notes, it's perfect for the filter brewing method!
