This is my favourite porridge recipe. The ladies at pure food have given us the recipe so you can make it at home yourself. You can also buy it made up in our shop if you find that easier. It is so simple to make each morning and tastes so good! You can combine all the dry ingredients in larger quantities and store in an airtight container to save you time in the morning. It tastes light yet keeps you full for the morning to stop you snacking! I have a lovely bowl of this along side a breakfast smoothie to keep me going. There's no need of snacking until lunch time unless I pop into the shop for a coffee!
What you need:
50g Gluten free Oats
50g Buckwheat Flakes
50g Quinoa Flakes
250ml Almond Milk (unsweetened preferably)
Raspberries or Blueberries
Pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, cacao nibs, chia seeds
Start by placing the oats, buckwheat flakes and quinoa flakes in a saucepan. Add the almond milk and water and bring to the boil, stirring constantly. Bring down the heat and continue to stir for 5 minutes until cooked.
Enjoy with any toppings!
